Living in downtown Chicago can often be a shock to ones senses. Busy people pack busy streets and eventually you realize that your thoughts have become busy. In the two years that I've called the South Loop "home", there is one daily occurrence that always snaps me out of it. Every time that I hear a police siren, it provides a subtle reminder that somewhere, something is not right. I will use this site to record every time I am confronted by a siren, updating my location and throwing in some possible candid snapshots of Chicago's finest.
